Sheryl Sellaway is Executive Director - Public Relations for Verizon Wireless, responsible for overseeing public relations including, media relations, employee communications, community affairs and promoting the company's products and services for 13 states in the South.
With over 18 years of telecommunications experience and communications expertise, Sheryl has received numerous professional awards from Public Relations Society of America, Texas Public Relations Association and the International Association of Business Communicators.
Sheryl holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Journalism from Georgia State University and an MBA from Amber University in Dallas, TX. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and International Association of Business Communicators.
Sheryl is a mentor and serves on the several boards, including Partnership Against Domestic Violence as Immediate Past President and currently Vice Chair, the University of Georgia Graduate School, The Ron Clark Academy and WCLK Jazz Radio. She is a 2007 graduate of Leadership Atlanta.
