Sherrill Mitchell Robison is a native of Columbus, Ohio. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University and a Masters degree in Counseling and Human Development from Troy State University – Montgomery, AL.

Sherrill has over 20 years of experience with the Federal government including positions with the Department of the Interior, the Department of Defense, and the Office of Personnel Management. The majority of Sherrill’s professional career has been in the field of career development as the manager of a Spouse Employment Assistance Program at a variety of Air Force Bases. She is currently employed with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration where she provides grant management, oversight, and technical assistance to grantees (States, universities, colleges, faith and community-based non-profit organizations, and others) in the southeastern region.

Sherrill has been married for 30 years to a 23-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and she is the mother of two daughters, one of which is a EWOE alumni. Sherrill is a member of Shaw Temple AME church in Smyrna where she serves on the Usher Board, the Women’s Ministry, and is a member of the Lay Council.
